About TrackGleam
TrackGleam (formerly Auracle, and sometimes written Track Gleam) is a free audio mastering tool that runs entirely in your web browser. Drop in a mix, and it analyzes your track and applies a professional mastering chain — EQ, compression, saturation, stereo shaping, and true-peak limiting — right on your device. No account, no upload limits, and nothing leaves your computer.
Private by design
Most online mastering services upload your music to their servers. TrackGleam doesn't. All audio processing — free masters and paid AI masters alike — happens locally in your browser using the Web Audio API. For AI masters we send only numeric measurements (loudness, tonal balance, stereo profile) to tune the processing; your actual audio never leaves your device.
The Gleam Engine V2
Under the hood is a 14-stage mastering chain: intelligent analysis, an 8-band parametric EQ, dynamic EQ, multiband and parallel "glue" compression, upward density, multiband harmonic saturation, mid/side and stereo processing, de-harshing, a lookahead true-peak limiter, and dithered export — with genre-aware presets and an optional linear-phase reference match. It's tuned to sound like a real mastering engineer finished your track, not like a preset was slapped on it.
Why it's free — and how we keep it that way
We think every artist should be able to make their music sound finished, whether or not they can afford a studio or a subscription. So the full mastering tool is free, forever, with no watermark. What funds it: an optional AI Master — a premium, track-specific master voiced by your pick of five AI mastering engineers (fictional TrackGleam characters — creative directions, not real people) that you can preview for free and unlock watermark-free for a small one-time fee — plus unobtrusive ads on our content pages. That's it. No data selling, no locking the basics behind a paywall.
Who's behind it
TrackGleam is built and maintained by independent music people who were tired of choosing between expensive mastering and bad-sounding free tools. It was created out of one need: struggling musicians deserve a genuinely good master without paying for it. No fluff, no free-tier bait — the free master is the product, and it has to hold its own against the paid competition or we've failed at the whole point.
It started life as Auracle and was renamed to something more distinctive — same engine, same privacy-first approach, every past purchase and AURA- code still valid. Have feedback or an idea? We'd genuinely love to hear it: contact us.
How we test and measure
Every number we publish is measured, not estimated. Loudness is ITU-R BS.1770-4 gated integrated loudness (400 ms blocks, −70 LUFS absolute and −10 LU relative gates). True peak uses 4× polyphase oversampling with the BS.1770 Annex 2 coefficient set — the same filter our limiter uses, so what we report is what we control. Loudness range follows EBU Tech 3342. All measurements run client-side in the TrackGleam engine, the same code that masters your tracks.
When a guide cites our own data (for example, loudness measurements across AI-generated exports), we state the sample size, the measurement standard, and the date measured — and we re-verify quarterly. When we make claims about other products, they carry an "as of" date and get re-checked on the same schedule. We don't publish invented statistics, user counts, or unverifiable claims.
