What you can change

The point of a free music visualizer is that it should not look like everyone else's. Every visual control below is free; GleamAI adds automatic lyric finding and word sync.

• Six styles. Bars (any genre), Bloom (EDM and house), Ribbon (acoustic and jazz), Trail (electronic and drum & bass), Liquid (R&B and ambient), plus Lyrics beta with editable Groq Whisper word timing for GleamAI users—or free manual timing.
• Karaoke and kinetic lyrics. After AI timing, social formats start with one oversized synced word at a time while 16:9 YouTube starts with full lines. You can switch either format to Line, Line + next or Word, then choose Still, Pop, Glide, Zoom or Scroll motion. Scroll keeps the current line or word large while the previous and upcoming lyrics move smoothly above and below it. Put lyrics high, centre or low; choose clean, bold or huge type; and optionally place compact title and artist information in a corner. Song info defaults off in Lyrics mode so it never competes with the words.
• Six color schemes. Gleam, Midnight, Ember, Neon, Frost and Mono recolor the bars, background, glows and gradient type together. Keep that theme treatment, switch all text to solid white or choose a custom text color.
• A clean-frame timer option. Keep the bottom-left progress ring and elapsed time, or hide both when your artwork needs the space.
• Four reactive backdrops. Stardust drifts and scatters on the kick; Aurora swells with the whole spectrum; Pulse fires rings on the beat; Grid lights its horizon with the bass. Or switch the layer off.
• Six genre-ready fonts, plus title and logo placement, so the type sits where your artwork needs it rather than where a template says.
• Your own artwork and logo — 12 MB each, and like the audio they stay on your device.

Which size for which platform

• 9:16 — 1080×1920. Reels, TikTok and Shorts. The default, because it is where music clips get watched.
• 1:1 — 1080×1080. Feed posts, where a vertical video gets cropped.
• 16:9 — 1920×1080. YouTube and X.

Title and artist text sit inside the safe areas for each shape, so the platform's own buttons and captions do not land on top of your song title.

It renders on your device

When you hit Create Video, the preview softens and goes quiet while TrackGleam builds the visuals and locks them to your audio. A live render display shows the current stage, percentage and time, so it is always clear that the video is being created.

A 30-second clip takes about 30 seconds because every frame reacts to that moment in the track. Keep the tab visible while it renders — browsers pause visual animation in background tabs, so the tool stops safely rather than hand you a frozen video.

Why it saves an MP4

Where the browser supports it, clips are created as MP4 with H.264 video and AAC audio — the format Instagram, TikTok and X actually accept. Chrome, Edge and Safari all do. Firefox can only create WebM, which Instagram rejects, so on Firefox the tool creates WebM and says so rather than letting you find out at the upload screen.

Master it first

An audio visualizer makes a quiet, dull mix look like a quiet, dull mix.
