Photos come from Pexels and are free to use. AI images (GleamAI) are made at up to 1024×1024 by an AI image model on Cloudflare Workers AI or, when that is unavailable or its daily allowance is used, through Pollinations.ai — a new picture each time. Making one sends the description you typed; a photo search sends only your search words; uploads and backdrops never leave your device. The 3000×3000 file of an AI image or a small upload is scaled up.

Cover art sizes for every platform
Every major store wants a perfect square. Spotify's stated minimum is 640×640px; Apple Music asks for 3000×3000px, RGB, with no transparency and no rounded corners baked into the file. Stock photos here are cut from Pexels' full-size originals, so their 3000×3000 download is real detail, and the color backdrops are drawn at full size too. AI images are made at up to 1024×1024, and an uploaded image may be smaller than 3000px — in both cases the 3000×3000 file is that image scaled up in your browser. That is an honest upscale, not a second, more detailed render: platforms check pixel dimensions, and a clean upscale satisfies that.
Finding a picture that sounds like your genre
Photo searches work best with a place, a light and a mood — "rainy neon street", "foggy pine forest", "golden field at sunset" — rather than a genre name. For AI images, mood, color and lighting words ("moody blue-gray, cinematic side light, grain") read more consistently than a list of nouns, and a style chip adds a short, consistent style phrase for you. Avoid naming real people, bands, or brand logos — the model may attempt a likeness it has no right to generate, and using it could create real legal problems for your release.
AI art, ownership, and what platforms actually check
This isn't legal advice, and it varies by country: as of this writing, the U.S. Copyright Office's position is that a purely AI-generated image, without meaningful human creative changes, generally can't be registered for copyright on its own. Combining it with your own edits, text, or other artwork you made can change that. Separately, no major streaming platform TrackGleam is aware of bans AI-generated art outright — what they and your distributor actually enforce is that art can't be misleading, offensive, or use someone else's likeness or copyrighted material without permission, regardless of how it was made. Treat what this page generates as a strong starting point, and review your distributor's current art policy before you release.

What size should my album cover be?

Will Spotify or Apple Music reject an AI-generated cover?
No platform TrackGleam is aware of bans AI-generated art outright. What they do enforce, regardless of how an image was made, is that cover art can't be misleading, offensive, or use someone else's likeness, logo, or copyrighted character without permission. Your distributor (DistroKid, TuneCore, CD Baby, and similar) reviews art against those same rules before it goes live.
Is my prompt, search, or upload sent anywhere?
Your track is never involved — this tool only makes images. An AI image sends the description you typed, plus your GleamAI code so TrackGleam can check access, to TrackGleam, which asks Cloudflare Workers AI to make the picture — or Pollinations.ai when that is unavailable or its daily allowance is used. Neither service receives your code. A stock search sends only your search words to Pexels; the photo loads from Pexels' servers. Uploads and backdrops never leave your device.
Can I make text (my title or artist name) part of the generated image?
You can ask the AI model to include text in the scene, but image models are unreliable at spelling — it often comes out garbled. This page instead draws your title and artist name as real, crisp text on top of the art, in your browser, with your choice of font, size and position (top, middle, or bottom) for each line independently — always legible and always spelled the way you typed it.
